ever play in the Rhode Island Interscholastic
League's Championship Division ... in 1995-96,
she helped Toll Gate reach the title round
against Mount St. Charles, the first time in 14
years that a public school has reached the
best-of-three title round ... in that series, which
Mount St. Charles won two games to one,
DeCosta became the first goalie in 18 years to
shut out the Mounties in a title series game
when Toll Gate earned a 3-0 decision ... earned
her team's MVP award in 1995 and 1996 and
