A five-time member of the U.S. Women's
National Team (1992, 1994, 1995, 1996 and
1997), Bye has tallied 25 goals and 20 assists
in 25 games ... also appeared on U.S.
Women's Select Teams in 1993, 1995, 1996
and 1997... served as captain at the 1996 IIHF
Pacific Women's Hockey Championship ... was
named USA Today's Athlete of the Month in
May of 1995 and earned the 1995 USA Hockey
Women's Player of the Year ... earned
all-tournament honors and an Outstanding
Performance Award for the U.S. at the 1994
Women's World Championship ... played four
years of college hockey at the University of New
Hampshire and scored 100 goals and 64
assists in 87 games ... Bye was named ECAC
Rookie of the Year for the 1989-90 season and
went on to All-ECAC accolades as a
sophomore, junior and senior ... she also
competed in tennis for the Wildcats ...
